EVENT DESCRIPTION

The Master Genealogist (known by users as TMG) is a long-established genealogy software that was developed by Wholly Genes, Inc. beginning in the 1990s. It is still used today by both hobbyist and professionals.

Cheryl Larson has managed this Users group out of Castle Rock for over ten years.

This group meets, in person only, at the Castle Rock Library on a monthly basis. It is usually on the second Wednesday of every month, but changes occasionally. All Colorado Genealogy Society members are welcome to attend.

The TMG software has been in existence for over 30 years. Development of the software stopped some years ago but a very active national and international Users Group continues to support all aspects of the program. Copies of the program can still be purchased for use today.

Enjoy using some of the best genealogy software features still in use today. While some of the advanced features in TMG have comparable functions in some other programs, there is no program offering many of TMG’s best features. These features include both capabilities for recording the data in the detail and with the flexibility available in TMG, and features to display, navigate, and report on the stored data.
